Description
The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable iPhone, pairing a 7.6-inch inner OLED display with a 5.4-inch outer screen. This brand-new unit comes with 512GB of storage and runs on the A20 Pro chip, the same chip used in the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. It suits buyers who want a tablet-sized screen for reading, video and multitasking in a phone that folds into the pocket. It stands out for being 5.2mm thin when open, its grade 5 titanium build with IP68 rating, and battery life of up to 44 hours of video on the outer screen.
Key features
- Large folding display. The inner 7.6-inch OLED runs at 1878×2670 and 430 ppi with an anti-glare nano-texture finish. Open, it is 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max screen. Both screens support ProMotion up to 120Hz and reach 3,000 nits outdoor peak brightness.
- A20 Pro performance. The A20 Pro chip is built on a 2nm process with a 6-core CPU, a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and hardware ray tracing. A vapour chamber and graphite layer spread heat across both halves of the phone.
- Thin titanium build. The phone measures 5.2mm thin open and 11.3mm closed, and weighs 254g. It is made from grade 5 titanium with a Ceramic Shield 2 front and is rated IP68 to 6 metres for up to 30 minutes.
- 48MP dual cameras. The 48MP Fusion Main camera has an ƒ/1.6 aperture and sensor-shift OIS, alongside a 48MP ultra wide with a 120° field of view. It offers a 4x optical-quality zoom range and records 4K Dolby Vision video at up to 120 fps.
- Long battery life. Two batteries provide up to 24 hours of typical use and up to 44 hours of video playback on the outer screen. Wired charging reaches about 50% in 20 minutes with a 60W-capable adapter, and MagSafe and Qi2 support up to 25W.
- Touch ID on either screen. A Touch ID fingerprint sensor is built into the side button and works whether the phone is open or closed. It replaces Face ID, as the folded design leaves no room for the Face ID sensors.
- Latest connectivity. The Apple C2 modem supports 5G, while the N1 chip adds Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread. USB-C supports data transfer up to 10Gb/s.
