Description
The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable iPhone, offered here brand new with 1TB of storage. It opens from a 5.4-inch phone into a 7.6-inch OLED display, giving a screen 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max's. It suits buyers who want a large screen for reading, video and multitasking without giving up a pocketable phone. It runs on the same A20 Pro chip as the iPhone 18 Pro models, with a grade 5 titanium body that measures just 5.2mm open.
Key features
- Two OLED displays. The inner 7.6-inch folding display runs at 1878×2670 and 430 ppi with an anti-glare nano-texture finish. The outer 5.4-inch screen has 460 ppi. Both offer ProMotion up to 120Hz, Always-On, HDR and up to 3,000 nits outdoor peak brightness.
- A20 Pro performance. The 2nm A20 Pro has a 6-core CPU, a 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and hardware ray tracing, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. A vapour chamber and graphite layer spread heat across both halves.
- Thin titanium build. Grade 5 titanium polished to a mirror finish, with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and Ceramic Shield on the back. It measures 5.2mm open and 11.3mm closed, weighs 254g and is rated IP68 to 6 metres for up to 30 minutes.
- 48MP camera system. A 48MP Fusion Main camera with ƒ/1.6 and sensor-shift OIS sits alongside a 48MP ultra wide with a 120° field of view. A 2x telephoto crop and 4x optical-quality zoom range are available, with digital zoom up to 10x.
- Pro-level video. Records 4K Dolby Vision at up to 60 fps, plus 100 and 120 fps on the main camera. Cinematic mode reaches 4K Dolby Vision at 60 fps and Action mode reaches 2.8K at 60 fps.
- Long battery life. Rated for up to 24 hours of typical use and up to 44 hours of video on the outer screen. Wired charging reaches about 50% in 20 minutes with a 60W-capable adapter, and MagSafe reaches 50% in about 30 minutes.
- Touch ID on the side button. A fingerprint sensor in the side button unlocks the phone from either screen. The folded design leaves no room for Face ID sensors.
- Latest connectivity. Apple's C2 modem provides 5G, while the N1 chip adds Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread and second-generation Ultra Wideband. USB-C supports data transfer up to 10Gb/s.
